"parts" notebooks -- seeking interesting (small!) trade items :)

Hi there!
a) This is my first post to this forum; if other than totally gratis offers are verboten, I apologize, withdraw, and genuflect contritely, and would appreciate an email letting me know that. I've just looked through the FAQ and don't see that :)
b) This is pretty close to gratis anyhow -- I have a small pile of old notebook computers which may provide good parts for those looking for LCD screens, tiny hinges, low-power processors, embedded components, etc. The IBM's optical drive (and I think all the other hard drives) have already been removed; I probably have a few sticks of RAM for these as well, possibly a power supply or two.
I had the idea I'd use the LCDs for something, or successfully combine the parts of the two HP laptops to make one working one (on one, the *connection* to the screen, but not the screen itself, seemed to go bad, and on the other, I suspect the motherboard is fried), but ... best laid plans of mice and men have left them in my tiny student apartment doing nothing. I'd rather they go to someone with exciting plans to design and create the first-class airplane compartment of the future. (Or similarly worthy endeavor, like a "road cam" for a truly exciting car driving experience, where looking down at the floor of the car shows ... the road.)
WHAT I'VE GOT:
- Two HP OmniBook 4155 (I think!) laptops, both long-dead as laptops, one of them more pre-disassembled than the other, for your screwdriving hand's pleasure.
- An IBM T40, which died JUST out of warranty (though bought as a refurb); this was some of my least-satisfying money ever spent on computing equipment. It's got a built-in wireless card, though I am unsure how integrated it is, perhaps someone re-utilizable?
- An elderly iBook (500MHz white / dual USB) -- the optical drive works and Yes, is in it. Battery is pretty close to dead, if it's even still there (forget).
(Why so vague? Because I'm in a bookstore in Florida right now, and these machines are in Philadelphia -- my memory's bad even in person.)
All of these machines have been used to edit Slashdot over the years, if that sort of thing matters to you ;)
WHAT I'D LIKE:
I'm seeking some sort of interesting trade for the pile of laptops -- something *physically small* by preference. See, I'm moving to Seattle. By car. At something already too near $4/gallon for comfort, and this will be later in the summer, after the traditional summer price increase.
- Reloading dies or equipment (for any caliber)
- Some appropriate-sized gift-cert for Borders or Amazon
- a decent Leatherman with locking blades
- a nice AA-based LED flashlight, like a Fenix L1D CE :) (https://www.fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_50&products_id=70)
- a portrait of one of the slightly more obscure presidents, on linen paper with numbers
Interested? Please shoot me an email at timothylord@gmail.com rather than replying here. I'll be back to Philly around the 23d and around for a few days in which an appropriate exchange could be made.
Cheers,
timothy
