Power generation from a cassette player?

I have a project that I'd like to construct inside a cassette. I can use a battery, but I'd like to obviate the need for external charging. My knowledge of both electrics and electronics is somewhat sketchy, and I am wondering if it would be feasible to use the kinetic energy from the turning of the capstan as a power source to keep the charge on a battery topped up. How much power could this be expected to generate? Could it manage 1.5 watts?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks, Paul
