I don't really expect an answer to this but I'm going to throw this topic out there anyway...
I live in a small one bedroom apartment. I often wish I had a basement or garage to make bigger and better (well maybe not better, just bigger) things. Then, I thought wouldn't it be cool if Make Philly had an "official" garage/workshop?
Again, this is a pipe dream, I know, but just thought it would be cool.

I have a friend that owns a large building in Northern Liberties who is interested in letting members of the group use. He currently has a shop in the basement that his company uses to build custom metal staircases. Trying to get him to come to the next meeting. Let me know if you would like to meet him before then and check out the space.

Sounds like it could be a cool opportunity to use the facilities there! Thanks for suggesting it and be sure to thank your friend.
Has anyone heard when the next make philly may take place? I tried emailing Harris and didn't get a reply. I hope Make Philly is still going... Website not being update, forums practically dead, no meeting in the past 2 months, uh-oh.
If there is anything we can do to help, let us know.

Just a quick response (to myself) that I did hear from the higher-ups of Make:Philly and things are still moving forward! Next meeting will be announced soon.
