I think the meetings are just on a short summer vacation... Perhaps you want to start thinking of a challenge in case there is a meeting in July? (hint hint)

I'm glad to see others are still here too. I am :) Yeah, aren't those throwies the coolest little gizmos! I just started a new make project... I know nothing about electronics. So I bought a book (Electonics for dummies) and I just got the project that appeard on the Make Blog a few weeks ago. The Cosmic popper. I figured this would be an easy small project to get started with. The instructions as a bit vague, and I've got to find the right kind of solder first (I wasn't aware there are different kinds). But I hope to be starting this project soon. Maybe I will be able to bring it to the next make:philly meeting. Hope to see everyone soon. Cyen
Maker challenge idea... a group "Rube Goldberg Machine" where maybe we each bring an obscure piece (or two or three) and then try to fit it all together. Here's one that Bre Petis worked on with sticks and stones... http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2006/06/make_podcast_rube_goldberg_con_2.html?CMP=OTC-0D6B48984890
and here's a video search of other rube goldberg machines on you tube: http://www.youtube.com/results?search=rube+goldberg&search_type=search_videos&search=Search
